Richard Klar, Ph.D.
Richard has more than 15 years’ experience in the field of immunology and immuno-oncology, with a dedicated focus on discovering new cancer therapies. Since joining Secarna in 2016, he has ascended through roles of increasing responsibility, playing a key role in the development of Secarna's ASO platform, pipeline and partnership ventures.
Before becoming Chief Research Officer, he was the Head of Research and Platform Development. Richard earned his Ph.D. in immuno-oncology from Technical University Munich. His achievements include multiple patents and over 20 peer-reviewed publications.
